It’s Catch-up Time

The past almost 3 weeks have flown by, and I can’t believe it’s been so long since I blogged. We’ve had more visitors, including David and Marilyn Anderson.

Along with Art and Caroline Fennell.

We visited Bisbee with the Andersons, and went out in the desert near Gleeson to the Rattlesnake Craft & Rock Store.

I wish they would sell me this javelina family, but many of the items outside are just for décor, not for sale.

The day David and Marilyn left, Charles and Chris Yust arrived. Our neighbor’s lot is getting some good use!

Weather turned cold, and everyone needed time to regroup, so we didn’t do anything touristy. Chris made some yummy chili one night, and we got the honor of being their first dinner guests in their beautiful new motorhome.

Their two Poodles really liked Don. I guess they knew he’s a Poodle’s dad!

We attended the Escapees Chapter 21 luncheon at the Benson City Grille at San Pedro Golf Course where we saw lots of friends and met some new ones.

Our good friends Jerry & Suzy LeRoy were there. Doesn’t Suzy look wonderful with over 125 lbs lost and a new hairdo? We enjoyed visiting with them at their home in the Saguaro SKP park later, as well. Belated Happy Birthdays to us both!

Here’s yet another sunset from our ‘backyard.’ Love the desert views!

  3. Nice to see you blogging again. We will miss seeing you guys this year. We're doing Florida this winter. The summer will be spent in South Dakota again. Next winter will be the Rio Grand Valley. The summer of 2014 will be our Alaska trip, finally! Then the following winter it's back to Arizona and Quartzite. Hope to see you again soon.
