Del Rosario Family Gathers for Wedding

It's now Monday, and the wedding is over. So here's a report of how things went during the past few days.

Note: If you want to enlarge any photos, simply click on them. This will take you to Picasa Web Albums, where you can also view more photos. To return to this blog, click the Back button on your browser.

Friday:
Preparations reached a feverish pitch as more of the family arrived and helped with tasks for the wedding. Balloons adorn the entry to the house, and ice chests were cleaned and prepared to hold beer and sodas.

The wedding itself was off limits for cameras, except for the professional photographer, so I only got one of the beautiful stained glass windows.

  1. Hi Sharon: thanks for sending this -- it's great to see all the pictures you've included, and to read about what you've been doing, all your travels, your marriage to Don and now this wedding. Anyway, great blog and thanks for sharing it!

All OK with me, still living in VT and I continue my travels for YBP in Penn. and NY State. I'm in Oswego, NY tonight, staying on the banks of Lake Ontario, how lovely it is.

Cheers to you and hope your summer continues to go well.

    Love, Alison

  2. Hi Don & Sharon; Great Blog. How do we sign up to be notified when you post? Sorry I didn't comment earlier, but we have traveled from Springfield, IL to CA in a week; too fast but we had a Golden Spike Rally and granddaughter, Julie, really was homesick. Hope to see you in October for the Fair. Your spot in the driveway is ready for you. Barbara & Tom

  3. Hi Barbara & Tom,
Thanks for your comment. To be notified when there's a new post, look in the upper left side of the screen and click on "Follow Blog." I don't know for sure, but I think that will tell you there's a new entry whenever you get on any Blogspot site. So, if you have a blog or go to any other blogspot.com site, there should be a notice. I haven't fully tested this out, so maybe another experienced blogger can help...

You're covering a lot of territory fast! Looking forward to seeing you in October, and thanks for saving the driveway spot for us.

  4. 1 - thanks for sharing the wedding with us. We were surprised that the "official" photographer was so territorial!

2 - Yes, following is the way to go. There is a way, but I don't know how, to have that notification sent by e-mail. Barbara and Tom may want to set up a free Blogger account of their own. They don't have to ever post anything if they don't want to -- just open their Dashboard once in a while to see if there are any posts by anyone they follow.

  5. Hi Aunt Sharon
I tried to post a comment last week without success. Here's to second chances... I have really enjoyed following your adventures for the past couple of days. I forgot about the JB tour until I logged on earlier to check on you. Super fun and what colorful photos those little beans yeild.

I had a really wonderful time with you both last week. I am overwhelmingly grateful for everything you did to make the 'gala event' so successful. Mostly, I'm really touched that you made the trip and shared your time and love with us.

Much love and gratitude, until we meet again, here in cybercity or the real deal.
